Our Story
The journey began back in 2015 when our founder, John Smith, struggled to find shoes that were both stylish and comfortable to wear all day long. As an avid traveler and explorer, John was constantly on his feet – walking for miles in cities across the globe. But no matter what shoes he bought, he experienced painful blisters, sore heels, and aching arches after long days of activity.
John knew there had to be a better way. So he made it his mission to engineer shoes that combined pillowy soft comfort with athletic support. After months of designing and testing various materials and technologies, John finally created the first prototype Cloud Air® sneaker.
When John slipped on the shoes for the first time, it was pure magic. The soft, cloud-like cushioning immediately absorbed impact and cradled his feet. The padded tongue and collar hugged his ankles perfectly. And the breathable mesh provided ventilation to keep his feet cool. John knew in that moment that comfort shoes would never be the same.
In 2016, John launched Cloud Air® and began selling his revolutionary sneakers online. Word spread quickly about the insanely comfortable kicks. Soon Cloud Air® amassed a cult following of comfort footwear fanatics who simply couldn’t get enough of the pillow-soft shoes.
Over the years, the Cloud Air® lineup has expanded into other footwear categories like sandals, boots, and slippers – all featuring our signature cloud-cushioned comfort. But the heart of our brand remains our ultra-comfy sneakers.

The outsoles of Cloud Air® shoes use durable, high-traction rubber to grip surfaces. We also strategically place extra cushioning in the outsole to absorb impact in key pressure points – protecting your heels, arches, and forefeet from pain.
From design to production, we oversee every detail and inspect every pair to maintain the highest standards. All of our shoes are rigorously tested for quality, comfort, and durability. We won’t release any shoe until it meets our lofty expectations.

Our ActiveSupportTM technology tunes the outsoles of Cloud Air® shoes to provide stability and shock absorption exactly where you need it. Data-driven design identifies key pressure points during walking and running. Then we place ActiveSupportTM zones made of extra cushioning in those high-impact areas for fatigue relief.
